Who are the
Wounded Warriors?
- They are our brothers and sisters in uniform returning from
conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other areas around the world
- They put their lives and health on the line every day to
defend our country
- Since 2001, more than 50,000 US troops have been injured,
30,000 seriously
Who
are we?
- 'Medical Students for Wounded Warriors' is a non-profit
charity organization dedicated to improving the lives of our nation's
veterans
- Our charity focuses specifically on those at the National
Naval Medical Center and Walter Reed
- Created by medical students in the Bethesda area, this
organization serves to raise money and awareness for wounded veterans
and their families through activities such as community runs
How
can you help?
- Support and participate in the Wounded Warrior 5K Fun Run
on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Meadowbrook Regional Park
- Donations are greatly appreciated- 100% of your
tax-deductible donation goes straight to improving the lives of these
brave men and women
